New Vision

Welcome to the updated version of my blog.  With ads coming in the next few days, I want to explain what's next for me, and for you, as a reader!  Upon returning home from Florida, I have decided that I'm going to give this blog a real chance.  Until this point, blogging was mainly just personal.  Now, I want to reach people, I want to connect with people, and I want to see where I can go with this blog. Within the next five years, I want to do more long-term traveling.  I'm not 100% sure what that looks like for me yet, but I do feel called to see more of this world God has created. Meeting new people that live completely different lives than me is the focus of my next few years.  While I'm still pursuing my degrees, I want to focus on this part of my plan soon as well. Not only do I want to see the world, but I want to share it.  I want to share my views and beliefs, and how these will be molded and changed by my experiences.  I want to share my life as a Nebraska

Universal Studios: Orlando, Florida - A Review

Since the Harry Potter rides were added, Universal Studios has been (almost embarrassingly high) on my bucket list.  I am so happy I had the chance to finally visit the wizarding world this summer!   There are three parks within Orlando's Universal: Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and the new Volcano Bay.  We did not go to Volcano Bay, but we did get two-day park-hopper tickets to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.  These tickets were roughly $250 a piece, but I would say it ended up being worth it as a huge HP fan!   I'm not entirely sure how people generally review theme parks, so I'm just going to do it in my own way. We entered the park on the Universal Studios side, as this is the side with London: Diagon Alley and Kings Cross Station.  This is near the back of the park.  Walking into the London section of the park, you can see the Knight Bus, Kings Cross Station, and Grimmauld Place. If you're a muggle, it'd be easy to walk right

Traveler

Welcome to Hannah on traveling mode!  I'd like to let you know that a "vacation vlog" will be coming to you a few days after I return home!  I will put it together, and then I will be able to watch my vacation highlights, and so can you!  We have had a pretty full schedule, so I am sure I'll have lots of things I'll be writing about within the coming weeks.  Tonight, I'd like to write about what I feel right now, and have been all week.   I have so many places I want to see in this world.  Not only for their natural beauty, but for the people there.  Seeing how others live is one of the BEST ways to grow as a person.  When I dove into the ocean the first beach day we had here, I came out of the water knowing where God was calling me next.  It's everywhere.  I want to see and meet everything and everyone I can, and I want to end up somewhere that God calls me to be.   I've always felt a bit like Nebraska was a mistakenly long stop in m

The Tinder Dare

So I have this friend, Madisen.  (Shout out to you girl, love ya!)  We both tend to say the phrase, "I'm going to die alone," around 300 times a week. This is, I guess, what led us to dare each other to get Tinder.   Before thoughts: I definitely had preconceived ideas about how this would go.  First of all, I tend to be a bit more "old fashioned" when it comes to dating, if you will.  I personally like to be friends with someone first or meet someone by a chance happening.  I don't necessarily think you'll find what you're looking for if you specifically seek it out when it comes to dating.  I figured joining Tinder would be a complete and total joke (like my dating life has been recently).  I get somewhat nervous when I try to meet potential boyfriends, and I am pretty skeptical.   I also had a pretty good idea of how Tinder would work.  I figured it would be lots and lots of sketchy guys sending, well... you get the idea.   Nevertheless,
